The NINE OF CUPS – represents a sense of self-satisfaction with one’s ideas, dreams, beliefs, interests, etc. This is a good thing as long as you do not get carried away with the self satisfaction. The picture on the card is showing us that his self satisfaction has caused him to become over confident with his celebrating.

The Nine of Cups advice to us is that we have to be in control of our selves and our emotions. As with everything we must try to do everything with moderation. It was easier for me to write that statement than to do what it says, but that is something I personally have to work at. I have found in the past the results of using moderation in my actions has been more successful than when I didn't.
