Over coming Obstacles

Today’s Card

The KNIGHT OF CUPS – this card represents confidence in your abilities to achieve your dreams and desires. This card also shows that the Knight is celebrating a personal victory, one that has been stopping him from moving forward.

We all are faced at one time or another something that stops us from moving forward. A lot of us have a tendency to want to let someone else take the blame for us not being able to move forward. One of the excuses that come to mind is “If GOD wanted me to move forward then there would be no obstacles preventing me from doing so”. The Knight of Cups is telling us that we all have the power to overcome our obstacles from within. The victory that the Knight is celebrating is one of overcoming his obstacles. From birth we continually are faced with obstacles that prevent them from doing the things that want. If you have ever watched the determination in a baby’s face as they try to walk for the first time. When the fall down though they are frustrated they get up and try again until they are victorious. As we grow into adulthood a lot of us, me included, seem to loose the ability to overcome our obstacles and for some reason want to have someone else make our decisions for us which is strange to me as we could all be something else if we truly wanted to be.

I would like to have some comments on what other people feel about the reasons that we sometimes loose our abilities to over come our obstacles as we get older. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
